Directions are very hard to follow in that area as there are no street signs. It was difficult to tell what street I was on. I was lost for about an hour.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The entertainment provided on the deck was an extra benefit we weren't expecting.
...
Free entertainment included.

Very nice with everything we needed.

we had to wait 3 hours whilst our apartment was being prepared - not ideal after a 6am flight! also, other families who checked in after us seemed to be taken to their apartments before us.

One of the receptionists (a portly, middle-aged man with dark hair) was very rude and extremely unhelpful whenever we asked him for anything. My partner had a migrane so i asked the receptionist if we could have some aspirin but he said they didnt have any. I have been informed since that every apartment/hotel block must have a medical/first aid box. Another receptionist refused to tell me what the entertainment within the complex was that evening because he was only there on his day off. Our balcony door didnt shut and, despite asking repeatedly for it to be fixed, nothing was done. Our air conditioning unit was rusty and leaking water all over the balcony floor and under the balcony door into our room. The lifts sometimes didnt work, which was a pain, especially as we were on the 11th floor.

This was done reasonably quickly, despite their lack of organisation.

The building is quite old and our room (and i imagine most of the rooms) need refurbishment. We wanted a double bed but were told all the apartments had twin beds. The staff at reception were rude beyond belief. The cleaners knock on your door every hour from 8am to clean your room. There was building work going on nearby, which was quite noisy.

We stayed there during the first 2 weeks of September. For the price we paid (£27 per night per person) we couldnt have expected much better, i suppose. If you can tolerate rude, unhelpful staff, problems not getting fixed, and the noise coming from the bar opposite (The Ha'penny Bridge) then its an ok place to stay, considering the price.
