By plane/boat: The island of Fuerteventura is accessible both by plane and boat. If you take a flight to the airport of Fuerteventura, found only 7 kilometres from the Villa Florida, it will take you around 10 minutes to drive to it: services from the rest of the Canaries islands, along with Madrid, Germany, Great Britain, Milan and Paris, among many other sites in Europe, have connections. Meanwhile, there are tourist ferries arriving at its 2 ports: if you come from Gran Canaria, you will reach Puerto del Rosario, the capital of Fuerteventura, while Morro del Jable, placed in the south of the island, is served by other boats too. You can get buses at any of these points that will easily lead you to the hotel.
By car: From the airport of Fuerteventura, turn right into the FV-2 motorway and stay on it up to the town of Fustes. You will reach the beach resort of Caleta de Fuste a while later: just turn left at Juan Ramón Soto Morales street and the Villa Florida will come into view on your left hand side, right before crossing Manuel Velázquez Cabrera street. Notice that on your right hand you will pass a market and some bars.
By bus: At the airport of Fuerteventura you can take bus number 3, which reaches Caleta de Fuste both from this terminal and the capital of the island, Puerto del Rosario (in this last case in only 20 minutes; it could also be useful if you reach the island by boat). Moreover, line 10 goes from Morro de Jable to Caleta de Fuste. Any of these lines will leave you off at a roundabout placed on the FV-2 motorway, right in the entrance to the town of Caleta de Fuste. From here, you must walk a few blocks to the Villa Florida: go along the main road getting away from the highway, as if you were heading to the beach; once you pass the taxi rank, walk along Avenida del Castillo and turn left into Manuel Velázquez Cabrera street. The hotel is on the corner of this track and Juan Ramón Soto Morales street. |
