Question 1 is inappropriate as I knew the hotel

We had been there before. The pool and surround are particularly satisfactory. All or most of the other guests would appear to be on a block booking of B&B and buffet dinner.We had breakfast only, and dined out.
I was helped to find a car-parking place.

The location, San Fernando, is a pleasant part of the town but a steep walk up from the town centre.

A small friendly hotel. Not a luxury hotel but the decor lifts it from your basic box like accommodation.
A hire car pays for itself in the trips to and from the airport, but keep it small
