By plane/boat: You may reach Fuerteventura by plane and boat. In the first case, you will arrive at the airport of Fuerteventura, only 7 kilometres from the Aparthotel Castillo San Jorge, Antigua & Suites. Flights from the rest of the Canaries, Madrid, Germany, Great Britain, Milan and Paris arrive here regularly. If you come by boat, at Gran Canaria there are ferries leaving to Puerto del Rosario, the capital of Fuerteventura (12 km far from the inns), and Morro del Jable, in the south of the island. From any of these points you will easily reach Caleta de Fuste on the local buses.
By car: As you leave the airport of Fuerteventura, turn right into the FV-2 motorway and keep on straight passing the town of Fustes. You will soon arrive in Caleta de Fuste: take your left at Juan Ramón Soto Morales Street, pass the markets, a roundabout, the Costa Caleta hotel on your left and turn left into Juan Cabrera Cabrera Street. Afterwards, take your right at Alcalde Marcial Sánchez Velázquez and at the next corner José Franchy Roca Avenue comes into view. The hotel on your left is Castillo San Jorge, while on your right stand Castillo Antigua in the first place, and Castillo Suites right next to it.
By bus: Take bus number 3 at the airport of Fuerteventura: this line reaches Caleta de Fuste from this terminal and also from Puerto del Rosario (in this last case in only 20 minutes). If you arrive by boat at Morro de Jable, line 10 takes you to Caleta de Fuste. The buses stop at a roundabout placed on the FV-2 motorway, in the urbanization`s entrance. As you get off, take Avenida del Castillo and turn left into José Franchy Roca avenue after a small park at the end of the first road. A few steps later the Castillo Suites comes into view, followed by the Castillo Antigua and the San Jorge. |
