By Plane
In order to reach the Sun Coast, and more precisely, this inn, you should take a flight to the airport in Malaga, the Aeropuerto Internacional Pablo Ruiz Picasso, which welcomes services from Rome, Milan, Dublin and even Melilla in Africa on a regular basis, apart from Madrid and other cities in Europe.
By Car
The airport in Malaga is 85 kilometres from the Gran Hotel Elba Estepona and it will take you around an hour to reach it by car. As you leave the airport, take the N-340 motorway, turn right into the E-15/A-7, and as you pass close to Torremolinos, go along the exit "Marbella/ Algeciras". As you approach Fuengirola, take the E-15/AP-7 highway and stay on it passing Marbella and Estepona. At exit 153, turn left into Autovía del Mediterraneo and you will find the hotel on the beachfront, at kilometre 151.
By Train
You can reach Malaga by train from Madrid in around 4 hours, and then take a bus to Estepona. At Estepona bus station you will find daily connections to Madrid (7 hours 30 minutes), Algeciras (1 hour) and Malaga (2 hours). Once you reach the terminal al Estepona, you can take the local bus number 1 (or red line) that connects "Mc Donald`s / Policía Local": you should get on the one reaching Don Pedro, an extension of the normal itinerary that reaches Arena Beach (in approximately 15 minutes from the bus terminal). |
