| During your stay at Playa d`en Bossa Hotel, it is obvious that you will primarily endulge in the beauty of the beaches, and it is not strange, considering that you will have the sand only 50 metres from your room. However, there is much more to Ibiza than its paradisiacal shores and intense nightlife. A 15 minutes trip by bus o a short drive of 3 kilometres will leave you at Vila (that is how the natives call the capital city), known as the "white island" in continental Spain due to its architecture. Here, the legacy of many cultures that throughout the years have resided in Ibiza is visible, from the Romans to the Punics, as well as the Carthageans and the Muslims. Donīt miss the Renaissance Walls, built during the reigns of kings Carlos I and Felipe II, and the different gates that hide spectacular views of the island, such as Portal de ses Taules and Portal Nou. For a treat on the classical Ibiza menu, visit the discos Bora Bora and Space, near the hotel, or get on the "Disco Bus" and travel to central Ibiza for a ride along Pacha, Privilege and the other musts of this vibrant island. As regards shopping, close to the Hotel Playa d`en Bossa you will find the La Sirena mall, one of the main commercial sites in Playa d`en Bossa. In the nearby area you will find everything you may need, from chemists (500 metres) and supermarkets (200 metres). |
