By plane/boat:
You can reach the largest of the Pituisas Islands by air or sea, from continental Spain. Regular flights go from Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Mallorca to Ibiza`s airport, placed only 3 kilometres from the hotel. Otherwise, there are ferries coming to the Port of Ibiza, the nearest to Playa d`en Bossa, from Barcelona, Formentera, Mallorca, Valencia and Alicante.
By car:
The Fiesta Hotel Playa d`en Bossa is really easy to reach from the San Jose Airport, as it is on the way towards central Ibiza. Just take the road Ibiza-Aeropuerto and after the crossing with PM-802, watch out for the signs towards Platja d`en Bossa (as Playa d`en Bossa is called by the natives). As you drive towards Ibiza town, after 2 kilometres you will come to a roundabout, where you must take the second street to your right in the direction Playa d`en Bossa. At a second roundabout, turn left and the hotel will come into view 700 metres later, on the left hand side.
- If you rent a car at the port of Ibiza or have carried your personal vehicle on board, the distance to the hotel is of only 3 kilometres. Take the Avenida de les Andanes once you leave the port and then continue along Avenida d`Isidor Macabich. At the end of it, turn left at Avenida de la Pau and at the roundabout, take your first, Avenida de Sant Josep de sa Talaia, which will lead you out of central Ibiza. You will reach a second roundabout where you must drive along the road to the San Jose Airport. Follow the directions towards Playa d`en Bossa, and turn right into this beach around 2 kilometres before the airport.
By bus:
The public transport working in the island of Ibiza is the bus: there are regular trips between the Airport and Ibiza, as well as from Playa d`en Bossa to central town. That is why, in order to reach the centre of Ibiza, you can take the bus from Playa d`en Bossa every half an hour during summer. |
