- Casa museo de Unamuno: Where one can view spaces and objets that were familiar to Miguel de Unamuno. There are also photographs and texts he wrote which show the intense relationship the writer established with the island: 100 m
- Cueva del llano: Interpretation centre associated with an important geological vestige, a volcanic cavity and paleontological site, whose data is essential to understanding the island's bioclimatic evolution over the last few thousand years: 23 km.
- Ecomuseo La Alcogida: made up of a group of seven houses which are examples of traditional architecture. The ecomuseum recreates rural life, with crafts, livestock and farming activities carried out in situ: 20 km.
- Museo de la Sal: an integrated cultural complex in Las Salinas del Carmen construted around 1910, and a salt museum that gives a general overview of the culture created around salt: 15 km.
- Mirador de Morro Velosa: built in the geographical centre of the island, the massif called Macizo de Betancuria, and devised by the celebrated César Manrique. In is centre the incredible landscape of the central-north of the island can be admired from a perspective difficult to find in other places on the island: 25 km.
- Molino de Antigua: this mill craft centre consist of a windmill used to produce gofio (toasted ground maize or wheat) where you will see the machinery behind this example of traditional engineering. There are some well-kept gardens with indigenous plants, a craft store, and an exhibition hall for painting and archaological exhibits: 20 km. |
