Accommodations

All our rooms are beautifully and individually decorated and furnished. Each has a private bathroom, central heating, telephone and TV. Ther is no air condition in the building. The thick old wlls protect very good from the summer heat and because of the location in the Sierra we have nearly every night a nice cool breeze comingin through the windows and balcony doors. Nevertheless, the rooms on the southern side facing the village are equipped with ventilators.

We don't use room numbers, the rooms are named after plants and herbs you find in the Sierra close to the Posada. Five of our 11 rooms are located on the first floor. They all have a balcony, three of them overlooking the Sierra and the Mountains, the other two facing the old part of the village. On this floor you find the rooms named Gallos, facing the village and Orchidea overlooking the Sierra, both are equipped with a 150 cm double bed and in Gallos you have also a small bed sofa which can acoomodate a child up to 6 years.

On the first floor there are also the rooms Azafran, facing the village and Jamapola overlooking the Sierra. They are both large superior rooms. Both rooms are twin rooms, in Azafran you also find a little seating area where a comfortable armchair can be converted into a additional bed to accomodate a third person. The 5th room on the 1st floor is our largest room. You have two balconies overlooking the mountains and a double bed of 150cm. In the spacious siting area you have a sofa which can be converted into additional beds to accomodate two children or an adult.

From the 5 rooms on the 2nd floor only three have balcony. There is Adormidera with a 150 cm double bed overlooking the village. Superior room Alheli with it's double bed of 150 cm has also a sitting area with an arm chair, serving as additional bed. It's balcony is facing the old village, because of the location in the second floor at the horizon you can see the mountains. Jara is on of the smallest but also most homely rooms. There is a double bed of 140cm, no balcony but a window to the inner patio.

Twin room Madreselva offers from its balcony and bathroom window stunning views over the mountains. Jamapola is th 5th room on the second floor. It is also a twin room, there is no balcony but a window with beuatiful views over the Sierra. The 11th room, Tulipan, is a twin room situated in the basement. In former times the room served as the bodega. It was completely renovated but the old stone walls where kept and restored. It is the most authentic room of the Posada. It's balcony faces the outer Patio with it's mediterranean plants and fruit trees.
