 The country inn Posada del Rio is located in Alozaina in the Andalusian province of Malaga, about 45 km (45 minutes) from the capital of the Costa del Sol. Alozaina, whose name means "little fortress" and "healthy and good place", is a charming "white village" (2500 inhabitants) in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves. |
 In 1995 the Sierra de las Nieves was declared a BIOSPHERE RESERVE by UNESCO. The area offers our guests many possibilities of organizing their leisure time: You can go on hiking- or biking tours on excellent paths, you can discover the beautiful flora and fauna in different climate zones or you can have a look at archaeological discoveries, some of them dating back to the Stone Age. |
