Coming from the airport-Barcelona-Zaragoza: A2 Highway towards central city, Avenida de America entrance towards Paseo de La Castellana. Turn left in the direction of Plaza de Cibeles, the take a right towards Alcalá , Puerta del Sol, in La Calle del Arenal turn the first street on the right you will find the Plaza de Las Descalzas.
Coming by underground: take the line 8 Barajas - Nuevos Ministerios, here change into the line 10 and then change to the line 5 and stop at Opera. From Opera station follow CAlle Arenal and turn right to reach plaza de las descalzas.
By car:
- If you are reaching Madrid through the A5 Extremadura - Casa de Campo - Straight to Calle Bailen, turn on the left towards Calle Mayor, turn on the left and take Travesía del Arenal, turn on the left , in the street Calle del Arenal turn the first street on the right you will find the Plaza de Las Descalzas.
- If you are reaching Madrid through the A1 Burgos (North) entering towards Paseo de la Castellana (same as airport indications)
- If you are arriving from the A4 Andalucia (South), M30 HWY O'Donell entrance towards Puerta de Alcalá & Cibeles (same as airport indications).
- Coming from the A6 La Coruña (West) take the entrance to Puente de los Franceses, then follow M30 entrance Paseo Pintor Rosales, towards Calle Bailen and Palacio Real. Turn on the left towards Calle Mayor, turn on the left and take Travesía del Arenal, turn on the left, in the street Calle del Arenal turn the first street on the right you will find the Plaza de Las Descalzas. |
