By plane/boat: You can reach the island of Fuerteventura either by plane or boat. In the first case, the airport of Fuerteventura is found 8 kilometres from the Geranios hotel: it welcomes flights from the rest of the Canarias, as well as from Madrid, Great Britain, Germany, Copenhague, Milan and Paris, among other points in Europe. Otherwise, tourist ferries arrive from Gran Canaria at Puerto del Rosario, the capital of Fuerteventura, or at Morro del Jable, to the south of the island. The buses system that goes around Fuerteventura will enable you to reach Caleta de Fuste in a simple quick way.
By car: It will only take you 10 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport in Fuerteventura. As you leave it, turn right into the FV-2 motorway and keep on straight along it till you reach Fustes. The beach resort of Caleta de Fuste is a bit farther: just turn left at the second street after the main roundabout and you will find the Geranios on your left hand side, on the seashore.
By bus: The capital of Fuerteventura, Puerto del Rosario, is accessible through the line number 3 of buses in only 20 minutes, in case you arrive here by boat. Line 3 also connects the airport with Caleta de Fuste, while line 10 goes from Morro de Jable, where your boat may arrive too to Puerto del Rosario, stopping first at Caleta de Fuste. The bus stops at this destiny are placed at a roundabout on the FV-2 motorway, right in the centre of town. From here, just take this main road as if you were heading to the golf course and the C.C. Atlántico and take your left at the second street. As you reach the seashore, you will find the Geranios complex o your left. |
