The largest of the islands has always been known for its wonderful climate, that doesn't seem to change through the year, therefore you will have summer at any time you want. Discovered by the conquerors in the 15th century, Tenerife used to be inhabited by the "guanches", a tribe that seemed to have stayed at the Stone Age. As time passed, the island would gain some fascinating examples of the gothic, renaissance and baroque style, which you should visit during your stay. |
At Los Cristianos, the enchanting town where the Apartamentos Plataneras are placed, there is a port set for nautical sports and voyages to the neighbour La Gomera island. The hotel can be found 200 metres from this point, and around 700 metres from the beach. It was built in the beginning of the eighties and was renovated in 2007. Its 216 guestrooms are completely equipped with kitchen and washing machine, while in the outdoor areas you can enjoy the swimming pools, the gym and the bars of the property. Once you have relaxed at the local sands, you may try the nearby Playa de las Américas, one of the most famous destinies among tourists, or play golf at the course 1 km from the Apartamentos. |
