 You will have no time to get bored during your stay in the Hotel THB Gran Playa: entertainment is guaranteed thanks to activities planned by the lodge`s staff, from flamenco shows to orchestras and games. For the children there is also a special programme, though not as sophisticated as the one for the adults. |
 At the two bars placed in the hotel you will be able to have a snack or a drink after a day at the beach, but you will also enjoy the live music and the authentic "show" when an important football match is on tv. Board games, billiards and the rental of bikes or cars are also available. While the sun is out, the swimming pool becomes the ideal place where to be, with decks, garden chairs and a solarium prepared for sunbathing. In addition to this, a part of the pool is preserved for children. |
 As regards gastronomy, the elegant restaurant of the THB Gran Playa, placed behind the lobby, hosts most of the meals. For breakfast, a buffet is displayed including cereals, fruits, yoghurt, milk, coffee and chocolate. Different sorts of teas and breads are also part of this morning treat, along with cheeses and juices. For lunch and dinner, there are fixed menus that vary every 2 weeks: they all offer specialties from the Spanish cuisine, from dishes originated in Madrid and Andalucía to the local "frito mallorquín", a serving of fried chicken spiced with onion, garlic and fennel, and accompanied by meat and potatoes. |
 The two bars in the hotel also have their share: the one inside offers snacks, hot dogs, pizza and other fast-food musts, while the one in the pool area, called "Poker", only sells drinks. However, pleasure is not the only reason to choose this lodge in Can Picafort. The Hotel THB Gran Playa has a conference room with capacity for 25 people, air conditioning and a giant screen. |
 Access to Internet is available in the lobby, where the guests can use 3 computers disposed for them, though this service is not free. At the front desk, attending 24 hours a day in English, Spanish, German and French, you may require massages and facial treatments for an extra cost, along with doctor if you or anyone in your family feels sick. |

The main attraction outside the walls of the THB Gran Playa is obviously the beach of Can Picafort, a 2 kilometres stretch of sand placed 60 metres from the front door. Here you may hire parasols and plastic chairs to spend the day, or make the most of the sports facilities: for an extra cost you will be able to do scuba diving, windsurf and volley, among other activities.
The promenade is also close to the hotel, where you will find shops, restaurants and bars open during the night. Anyway, the bus station and a taxis stop are placed within steps from your room and a bank can be found at the corner.
Can Picafort owes its fame not only to the beach and the crystalline waters but also to the archaeological ruins found in the surroundings. During your stay, don´t miss the Real Necropolis, one of these remains (the most antique in the whole island of Mallorca), located at 20 minutes from Playa de San Baulo, a neighbour beach. |
