Buses - in Barcelona
The main public transport provider in Barcelona is Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona. There are 50 bus routes through the city and during the day there are buses every few minutes along city routes.
Most bus routes run daily from 6:30am to 10pm and night buses operate along the main roads from 11pm to 4am. Day buses are red in colour and night buses are yellow.
Single tickets can be bought at metro stations and from the driver on the buses. If you want to use the buses to get around buy a multi-day travel pass which is more convenient and saves money.

The Barcelona Sightseeing Bus is a hop on, hop off service run by the TMB. The bus stops at 27 of the city's main sights and takes around 2 hours to complete. Buses come every 20 - 30 minutes Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 21:30.
