Buses - Madrid
EMT
runs Madrid's extensive bus service that is made up of more than
150 lines that can get you to almost any part of the city.
Day services
operate from 6:00 am to 11.30 pm, when the more limited night buses,
or Buhos, take over.
All night buses start at 12:00 am, leaving from Plaza de Cibeles
every half hour (on the half hour) until 3:00 am. From 3:00 am until
6:00 am there are buses every hour, on the hour.
Most bus stops have city maps detailing the Madrid's bus routes.
Tickets can be purchased at Metro Stations and tabacconists (estancos)
and at the EMT information kiosks.
