By plane/boat
The Gran Canaria Airport, "Las Palmas-Ingenio", is placed on the eastern coast of the island, only 12 kilometres from the property. On a regular basis flights from Spain and Central Europe arrive at this terminal (2 hours and a half trip in the first case and approximately 4 hours and a half in the second). Otherwise, boats arrive at Las Palmas, the capital in the island, from Cadiz port in Spain or the rest of the Canaries archipelagos.
By Car
The Gran Hotel Vecindario Aeropuerto can be easily reached by car from the airport in only 7 minutes. Go along the GC-1 motorway and after passing the towns of Ingenio and Cruce de Arinaga, get off at the exit and into Vecindario. Take Avenida del Atlántico towards the south and at the first roundabout turn right. The hotel comes into view a few metres before Tiscamanitas street. If you have carried you car on board on a ferry reaching Las Palmas, the itinerary is practically the same, along the GC-1, though it will take you around 35 minutes to reach the hotel.
By Bus
If you don´t have a car, you should not worry about public transport alternatives, as the Gran Hotel Vecindario Aeropuerto provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Anyway, at Las Palmas there are buses leaving to the south of the island with several stops along the way. |
